Our skin is our largest organ. It is also one of the detoxification pathways. The skin absorbs anything in contact with it. It is supposed to have a layer of natural PROTECTIVE bacterial, that can prevent other pathogens from entering the body through the skin. However, our excessive use of antibacterial and toxic skin care products have broken down this layer. Natural oils of the skin and hair are healthy. Not enough or too much of these oils are indicators of imbalance in detox pathways or hormones. Changing to non-toxic beauty care is step one in having healthy, youthful, glowing hair, skin, and nails.
Superfoods are a great way to supplement your diet naturally and boost your well-being. Nature is full of these wonderful nourishing food sources of our daily needed vitamins and minerals.
